Job summary

Nye Health Services is seeking a compassionate Evening Medication Aide to join our part-time team in Nebraska. You will administer medications, assist with daily care, and help create a resident-centered environment with a focus on safety, dignity, and quality of life.

Requirements include Nebraskan 40-hour Medication Aide certification, CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain within 30 days), and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Nebraska 40-hour Medication Aide certification required (Nebraska)
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 30 days
• Previous long-term care or assisted living experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the nurse promptly
• Accurately document medication administration and resident care tasks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors
• Communicate effectively with nurses, caregivers, residents, and family members
• Support resident dignity, independence, and quality of life through compassionate care
• Follow all state regulations, infection control procedures, and company policies
