Job summary

PACS is seeking an evening shift Med Tech/Caregiver to support medication administration and resident care in a facility setting. You will follow policies, note medication errors, and help develop procedures to prevent errors while ensuring accurate charting and documentation.

Responsibilities include recording vital signs, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with inter-departmental staff to meet resident needs. Equal opportunity employer with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Language skills: read, analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow the policies and procedures governing medication administration to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing procedures to determine what medication errors occur, and how to prevent them.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Ensure medications are properly labeled and charting is followed.
• Document instances of medication not administered with reasons.
• Record vital signs accurately and report changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
