Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of dispatching/transportation experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A high school diploma is required and EMT/EMD preference is noted.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dispatching/transportation experience for hospital patients.
• Familiarity with hospital processes and patient movement coordination.
• Proficient in basic office software (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical and non-medical transports with hospitals and facilities.
• Assist with LOS determinations and ensure paperwork is complete for transport.
• Communicate with dispatch centers to ensure on-time performance.
• Suggest routes and unit utilization for efficient patient movement.
• Provide patients and staff with transport details and expectations.
• Coordinate billing information and respond to related inquiries.
• Prepare accurate paperwork and act as liaison between GMR and facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
