Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Medical Testing Associate I to handle specimen processing, loading and unloading patient samples, and assisting technologists on waived and moderate complexity testing. Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday to Friday with rotational weekends; pay starts at $17.20/hour plus eligible second/third shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in a health care facility.
• Medical Laboratory Assistant experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and distribute specimens to testing locations.
• Prepare reagents, label tubes, and specimen containers.
• Load and unload patient samples onto specified instruments.
• Assist technologists with routine and specialty assays.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Provide customer service duties.
