MultiCare is seeking a Medical Technologist for the Evening Shift in Tacoma, WA. The successful candidate will perform patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis, results reporting, instrument maintenance and technical troubleshooting.

A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Sciences is required; a Master's is preferred. Certification as MLS/ASCP or MT (ASCP) or AMT is expected, with specialist certifications in hematology, microbiology or chemistry preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Sciences required.
• Master’s degree in Medical Technology preferred.
• Certification for Medical Technologist MLS/ASCP or MT ASCP, or AMT.
• Specialist certifications preferred (e.g., Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry).

Responsabilités

• You will receive specimens and ensure positive identification.
• You will determine specimen suitability and prepare reagents as needed.
• You will perform instrument maintenance and calibration.
• You will report results and analyze data with attention to quality control.
