Under supervision, you will perform clinical lab tests, analyze results, ensure accuracy, and handle QC and instrument maintenance. Requires a BS in Medical Technology with internship and NYS license or eligibility; strong analytical skills and LIS experience; ability to work evenings in a high-volume lab.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology with clinical internship.
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or eligible.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Experience with laboratory information systems.
• Ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical laboratory tests and analyzes results to aid diagnosis.
• Performs preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Maintains test accuracy and notifies staff of abnormal results.
• Documents quality control and corrective actions.
