Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a part-time Laboratory Technologist to perform and report routine to moderately complex diagnostic tests. You will ensure quality controls are complete and documented, and maintain a safe, clean lab environment while supporting inventory management and ongoing education.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Medical Technology or related field, with hematology experience preferred and strong data handling and safety practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Hematology experience preferred.
• Strong data handling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report routine to moderately complex diagnostic tests.
• Complete and record quality controls and QA markers; troubleshoot when needed.
• Maintain safe, clean, and efficient lab environment; manage inventory.
• Provide professional courteous service to internal/external customers.
• Assist with orientation, education and training of students and staff.
