Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Oklahoma City seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform routine testing across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, molecular and microbiology.

You will assist with specimen processing, maintain instruments, troubleshoot issues, and support the clinical laboratory. A team-focused, professional attitude and willingness to work overtime when required are essential.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow employer and hospital policies.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Hours: 6:30am-4:30pm

Essential Functions:

• Report to work on time and prepared for each scheduled shift
• Perform all assigned duties and processes, including tasks for which you are fully qualified and those within your demonstrated capabilities
• Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive attitude throughout the workday
• Work collaboratively as a team member and contribute to a respectful, productive work environment

• Good understanding of laboratory procedures.

• Able to manage time, prioritize, and delegate.
• Good computer skills a plus.
• Knowledge in Epic and Media Lab is a plus.

Required Experience:

• AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT/MLT certification.
