Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Itasca, IL. The role supports daily pickups, transport of medical specimens, and delivery to the branch with a company vehicle provided. Work hours are Monday–Friday 2:00pm–10:00pm, with rotating weekends and a pay range of $17.75–$20.00 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 21, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record. High School Diploma or GED is preferred along with 1 year of driver/courier and customer service

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of driver or courier experience.
• Preferred: 1 year or more of customer service experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete and manage daily pickup schedule.
• Deliver daily pickups to the branch at end of shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups.
• Evaluate traffic, routes, and weather conditions.
