Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Itasca, IL. Work Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:00pm with rotating weekends, transporting medical specimens and lab supplies. A company vehicle is provided, with an optional home use for personal use at $125/month.

Pay range is $17.75–$20.00 per hour, with eligible benefits for 20+ hours per week. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of driver or courier experience.
• 1 year or more of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups.
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws.
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up.
• Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
