Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is seeking an evening shift, full-time Medical Assistant for its Immediate Care Center in Clifton, NJ. The MA will provide high-quality patient care and support both clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic EMR and MS Office skills, and BLS certification within 14 days of hire. Preference given to candidates with an associate degree or CMA/RMA and clinic experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree, CMA or RMA certification; prior clinic/hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks.
• Work as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
• Support clinic operations in an IMC / clinic-based environment.
