Qualifications

• Must have experience in long-term care settings and medication administration.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately using the six rights.
• Monitor residents and report changes to licensed staff.
• Document care and medication administration in the EHR.
• Maintain medication inventories and coordinate timely reorders.
• Complete narcotic counts at shift change and report discrepancies.
• Follow all medication storage, handling, and destruction procedures.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, and family members.
• Help create a safe, comfortable environment for residents during evening hours.
