Smithfield Foods is hiring General Production team members in Harrison, OH. Regular hours are 3 PM–11:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with seasonal Saturday overtime.

Positions involve lifting up to 80 lbs, working on a refrigerated floor (~38°F), and handling of raw meat with PPE as required. Responsibilities include operating hand tools and machinery to process meat products, maintaining safety and production standards, and supporting coworkers to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to stand on concrete for long shifts.
• Able to perform tasks requiring repetitive movements and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Operate hand tools, knives, machinery and equipment to process meat products.
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality production line and assist coworkers.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures on a refrigerated production floor.
