Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Material Sorter for a short-term contract in Williamsburg, VA. The role runs 2:30pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday, with a 3–4 week contract and potential extension for strong performance.

The position involves sorting, inspecting, and safely stacking materials, identifying damaged goods, and documenting findings for forklift operators. Experience helpful but on-the-job training is offered.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or sorting experience preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
• Strong team-player and communicator.
• Commitment to safety and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and safely stack materials to meet quality standards.
• Identify and separate damaged goods.
• Record findings accurately and communicate with forklift operators.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and use PPE.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and operate or work around warehouse machinery.
