Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Materials Handler in South Windsor, CT to support shipping, receiving, storing and distributing materials at a premier manufacturing client.

This role features a night shift: 6:00PM–6:00AM with overtime, weekly pay at $19.50/hr, and opportunities to grow skills within a safety-focused environment.

You will perform inventory logging, verify goods against invoices, and coordinate material movement between sites while maintaining accurate counts and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials handling, shipping/receiving, or inventory management (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift, move, and transport materials.
• Willing to work weekends and mandatory overtime.
• Reliable team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and supplies.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Log materials into the inventory system and deliver to inventory.
• Package goods according to specifications and prepare shipments.
• Provide accurate inventory counts using manual or PC logs.
• Report and help resolve discrepancies to management.
• Order materials and supplies as needed; ensure secure transportation between sites.
