Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Material Handler for a contract role based in Monument, CO, on the swing shift (2:00 PM — 10:30 PM). The role focuses on receiving, staging, and tracking materials using scanners and inventory systems, with attention to safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of material handling experience, a high school diploma, and comfort using scanners. The position includes on-site work and participation in training sessions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using scanners and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, transfer, and issue materials using scanners and inventory systems.
• Process material movements, including dock-to-stock, floor returns, kits, transfers, and MRO transactions.
• Verify inventory accuracy and resolve transaction discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory control efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety, health, and security procedures.
• Collaborate with production and shipping teams to ensure material availability.
