Job summary

Dal-Tile, a Mohawk Industries subsidiary, is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator in Texas to support loading, unloading, and shipping of finished goods. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pick and pack orders, and enter data into the WMS.

The role covers picking, receiving, putaway, and packing with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency. 2nd shift: Mon–Fri, 2:30pm–11:00pm; Dal-Tile certified operators encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum six months to 1 year of sit-down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communications.
• Good record keeping and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Enter orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verify stock availability and audit orders for accuracy.
• Convey picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.
• Receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Open crates and inspect product; apply labels per procedures; verify shading and place into correct locations.
• Move product into designated storage areas; record locations in inventory system.
