Job summary

Royal Building Products in Columbus, OH is hiring a Material Handler. The role involves storing and pulling inventory, palletizing, loading inventory onto trucks, and accurate scanning to maintain inventory.

This full-time position offers a 2:00 pm–10:30 pm schedule, a $20.59 hourly rate with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for new employees, and comprehensive benefits from Day One, including health coverage, paid vacation, holidays, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
• Proven experience driving various powered equipment.
• Ability to count and do basic math.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or hub tech to store, move, pull, and load inventory.
• Scan inventory to locations, picks, and trucks.
• Assemble pallets for shipment to customers.
• Pull inventory based on orders and place on skid.
• Unload trucks and store inventory in correct locations.
• Identify material that must be scanned and unitize on each skid.
• Inspect product quality before shipping or receiving.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain good housekeeping.
• Maintain safety standards and workplace cleanliness.
