Job summary

Carpenter Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2pm-11pm shift. You will guide production staff, plan shop floor activities, and coordinate with sales and MRP to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with 2- or 4-year degree preferred and 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year or four-year college degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Experience supervising in a manufacturing/operational setting.
• Strong communication, problem solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide production employees with guidance, direction and supervision.
• Plan and schedule operations within assigned areas, including loaders and reporting.
• Develop production plans with load sheets, scrap, routers and work orders.
• Interface with Sales, MRP, and Manufacturing to align goals and budgets.
