Carpenter Technology Corporation's Clearwater facility is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 2pm–11pm shift. You will guide production teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, quality, delivery, people and cost objectives across the department.

Qualifications

• Two-year or four-year college degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a manufacturing/operational environment preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience in improving efficiency and operational objectives.
• Strong verbal and written communication and project management skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and develop staff.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide production employees with guidance, direction and supervision in support of departmental operations.
• Promptly address performance issues and promote company policies, especially safety plans and results.
• Plan and schedule operations within assigned areas; review personnel schedules, reports and logs.
• Develop production plans including load sheets, scrap, routers, reports and work orders; manage NCR, CAR, SOP, and cost/efficiency projects.
• Interface with Sales, MRP, and Manufacturing to achieve goals; oversee daily/weekly performance of safety, quality, delivery, people and cost.
• Maintain organized, productive shop floor areas and respond to employee concerns.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
