Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of New York Penal and Criminal Procedure Law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage IAB attorneys and support staff.
• Train staff on standards and complaint drafting.
• Monitor individual performance and provide evaluations.
• Oversee short and long-term projects.

Skills

Experience advising junior assistants

Training and liaising with law enforcement

Felony jury trial experience

Knowledge of New York Penal and Criminal Procedure Law

Knowledge of criminal justice reform

Working knowledge of Intake and Arraignment process

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal skills
