Job summary

Morgan Truck Body is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repair on production equipment in our Glenmoore, PA facility. The role requires PLC basics, reading blueprints, and strong safety leadership.

You will operate forklifts and cranes while following OSHA/NEC standards and performing preventive maintenance. Two years in a manufacturing maintenance environment and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years in a maintenance role in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and electrical circuits (AC/DC).
• Must be able to operate forklifts, scissor lifts and overhead cranes.
• OVERTIME willingness; strong safety compliance (LOTO, Fall Protection, Confined Space).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems on production equipment and facilities.
• Read blueprints/schematics; interpret measurements and use precision tools.
• Follow safety policies and wear proper PPE; adhere to OSHA/NEC standards.
• Operate hand tools and portable equipment safely on a daily basis.
• Read and interpret work orders and perform assigned maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and work in elevated areas as required.
• Maintain and follow predictive/preventive maintenance schedules.
