Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to maintain and repair production and processing equipment and utility systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and assist with installations while documenting all repairs and adhering to safety and GMP standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of mechanical/electrical training or equivalent experience, and the ability to obtain a 1st class

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two or more years of mechanical/electrical education certification or equivalent experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably food experience.
• Must obtain 1st class B boilers license within 12 months and meet hour requirements to upgrade license.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and/or repairs of production and processing equipment and utility equipment, following safety procedures.
• Support the installation of new equipment.
• Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all repairs are documented.
• Foster teamwork aligned with our mission, vision, and core values.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
