Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a motivated Maintenance/Preventive Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled PM tasks on high-speed manufacturing equipment. You will gain hands-on experience with mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and automation while contributing to equipment reliability.

This role supports a 2nd shift with opportunities to advance into maintenance technician roles.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical coursework or certification in industrial maintenance preferred.
1-2 years of manufacturing/industrial experience or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience.
Experience performing routine preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections and lubrication.
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to identify wear, leaks, vibration, and abnormal conditions.
Ability to follow PM schedules, standard work, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks per schedules and standard work.
Complete lubrication activities on bearings, chains, and gearboxes.
Inspect equipment for wear, leaks, and abnormal conditions; escalate findings.
Perform basic mechanical adjustments and limited component replacements.
Support maintenance of building facilities and related equipment.
Document PM activities and findings in SAP; communicate risks clearly.
