Job summary

PFSbrands is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance team in keeping production lines running and equipment in top condition. This role covers basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with preventive maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You will learn to follow manuals and instructions, work with basic shop tools, and communicate maintenance updates to the team. Some travel between facilities may be required; English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related maintenance or mechanical support preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and understand simple technical documents and manuals.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assists with routine preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Learns to follow diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications.
• Aids in troubleshooting malfunctions and documenting findings.
• Supports locating problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Helps dismantle machinery to remove defective parts.
• Maintains maintenance logs and documentation.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and follows GMPs.
• Supports maintenance needs at multiple facilities.
