Job summary

The Step2 Company is seeking a 2nd and 3rd shift Maintenance Technician in Perrysville, OH. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly range ($26.03–$33.04) with a $1.00 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing machinery, maintaining hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and operating tools.

Qualifications

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues on machinery and equipment.
• Repair mechanical equipment as needed.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, motors, and control wiring.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic piping.
• Repair and calibrate automated machinery including PLCs.
• Operate machine tools to fabricate parts; basic cutting/welding skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Install and repair electrical components and wiring.
• Operate and set up machine tools for fabrication and repair.
• Support maintenance supervisor with scheduled tasks.
