Job summary

Glacier Hills Senior Living Community, a member of Trinity Health Senior Communities, seeks a Maintenance Tech for its Ann Arbor sites. Evening shift options are 5pm-1am or 6pm-2am, Monday to Friday, with first-day benefits and tuition reimbursement opportunities.

The role involves responding to work orders, performing repairs on electrical/plumbing/HVAC, and assisting with furniture moves and routine maintenance to ensure resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience with repairs and maintenance of building systems.
• Ability to respond to work orders promptly and effectively.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in repair work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete work order requests promptly.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems; painting or assisting with new construction as directed.
• Complete routine repairs including replacing windows, repairing fixtures or appliances.
• Safely move residents' furniture and large equipment for the facility.
• Monitor and report status of equipment and supplies and use them economically.
