Job summary

RealTruck Plant 1 in Owosso, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to handle building maintenance and a range of repairs. Work hours are five days, 8-hour shifts, with overtime as needed (3:00pm - 11:30pm) and some flexibility; Fridays may involve PMs or larger repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• 3 years working with mechanical systems, tools, or machines required.
• Forklift experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex machines using electrical, mechanical, welding, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve maintenance issues and improve equipment reliability.
• Manage CMMS: create work orders, upload documentation, update parts.
• Assist with inventory and ordering replacement parts and shop supplies.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I and contribute to training on equipment and systems.
• Rebuild machines, tools and heavy equipment and create special tools for production.
