Job summary

Copeland is a global HVACR leader seeking a Maintenance A Scroll Technician at our Ava, MO facility. You will repair CNC mills and lathes, troubleshoot PLCs, hydraulics and electrical systems, and support production through maintenance and improvements.

The role requires welding, boiler knowledge, and the ability to work in confined spaces with occasional overtime. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• CNC mill and lathe maintenance required.
• Electrical theory up to 460 V.
• Hydraulic systems theory and application.
• PLC theory and application.
• Welding: ARC and TIG.
• Maintenance experience in boiler operations, HVAC/R or compressors is a plus.
• Applicants tested via oral and written exams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes.
• Diagnose machinery problems and perform repairs.
• Work in confined spaces with respirator and at heights.
• Interact with suppliers/vendors.
• Overtime often required on weekends, including Sundays.
• Maintain inventory of machine components.
• Interpret blueprints and PLC/electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Collaborate with engineering on process improvements.
• Complete First Responder Training.
• Adhere to safety practices.
