Job summary

Associated Materials, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. The role involves preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting in projects to support plant requirements.

Responsibilities include analyzing mechanical and electrical systems, installing equipment, and performing PM activities. The position requires 2-3 years of maintenance experience and proficiency with CNC, servo drives, and PLC systems.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with servo drives, motors, CNC machinery, and PLCs.
  • Proficient in selecting, using, and safely handling hand and power tools.
  • Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical systems: analyze and repair mechanical systems and troubleshoot breakdowns.
  • Electrical systems: analyze and repair electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Equipment installation and relocation: safely install and relocate equipment.
  • Pneumatic systems: analyze and repair pneumatic systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • Hydraulic systems: analyze and repair hydraulic systems and troubleshoot issues.
  • CNC and pneumatic equipment: troubleshoot and repair CNC and pneumatic equipment; set up new machinery.
  • Preventive maintenance: perform scheduled PM activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.
