Saratoga Retirement Community is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community in Saratoga, CA. The role focuses on building maintenance and hands-on technical support across multiple trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.

The position offers a full-time schedule, a structured evening shift from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM (weekends included), and a competitive pay range of $30–$35 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year building maintenance experience.
• Formal vocational training in maintenance preferred but not required.
• Completion of a background check; regional pre-hire screenings may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on facility and equipment (plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Prepare and organize materials and equipment before starting a task.
• Report items needing repair to supervisor immediately.
• Respond to occasional building emergencies as needed by supervisor.
• Maintain logs and records related to systems and tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
