Eden Prairie Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Operations Coordinator to support the High School MOC with supervising custodial and maintenance staff, and to manage the CMMS while keeping the school plant in top operating condition.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certification of good health signed by a licensed physician.
• 1st class boiler's license and any additional appropriate grade license for the building where the positon is located.
• Five years' experience with a mix of leadership, maintenance, and custodial experience or the equivalent in custodial service in other institutions and firms.
• Knowledge and expertise in the basic techniques of facilities management, electrical repair and mechanical maintenance, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated communications skills
• Proficiency in computer skills
• Knowledge of school district policies and procedures, or ability to learn.
• Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, organize the work flow, and be flexible

Responsibilities

• Supervise all custodial and maintenance personnel at Eden Prairie High School.
• Manage CMMS (computerized maintenance management systems).
• Maintain the physical school plant and grounds for operating excellence.
• Ensure a safe environment for staff, students, and the community.
• Review and adhere to district policies and procedures.
