Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. Beloit, WI maintenance technician role requiring hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Shift is 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for eligible hires and a pay rate of $39.02 per hour. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, work with pneumatic/hydraulic components, and use CMMS/work orders to ensure reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• Required to work on weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without accommodation
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
