Job summary

Milton Hershey School (MHS) seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician II – Electrician to join its Facilities team. This journeyman-level role performs corrective, proactive, and preventive electrical maintenance on campus facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.

Joint responsibilities include ensuring compliance with codes, working 40 hours weekly (currently Tue–Sat, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm), and contributing to a supportive campus environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) years of current work experience with commercial and/or residential settings in conjunction with two (2) years of post-high school technical training in Electrical Distribution, Variable Frequency Drives, DDC Control Systems.
• Or, six (6) years of relevant current work experience in commercial and residential settings.
• Valid PA Driver’s License in good standing. CDL license a plus
• OSHA 10-Hour Training. OSHA 30-Hour Training a plus
• Building Management System experience is preferred
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS Staff are role models for MHS Students
• Candidates should be willing to actively engage with students.
