Job summary

Horton, Inc. has an opening for Mainline Assembler to work in our Britton, SD location. This is an hourly position with a starting wage of $25.76 per hour and depends on experience.

Standard hours are Monday - Thursday from 330pm - 200am, with overtime, as needed, and there is a shift premium of $1.25 per hour for this shift. Mainline Assembler performs assembly, painting, testing, packaging and transport of fan clutches and subassemblies to finished goods area, while maintaining quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no Visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble fan clutch units and subassemblies per production schedule.
• Collect parts and prepare for assembly in advance of production needs.
• Assemble using drawings and follow procedures; apply laser marks when required.
• Conduct quality checks using inspection equipment and visual checks.
• Paint units with standard industrial spray equipment.
• Package, label, and palletize finished goods for shipment.
• Record job data in Oracle and track inventory as required.
• Provide training to temporary workers and new team members.
