Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Elizabethton, TN, is hiring a Machine Operator in the trim department for full-time, direct-hire work.

The role requires attention to safety, reading and following documents, and teamwork to meet production deadlines. Evening shift 5:00 pm to 1:30 am with overtime potential.

Starting pay is $16.25 per hour, plus a $1.50 shift differential, with comprehensive benefits available from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of one year of related manufacturing experience.
• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience a plus.
• Comfort with power hand tools.
• Willingness to train and operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend documents including policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Communicate information effectively one-on-one and in small groups.
• Apply instructions and solve problems with multiple variables in standard situations.
• Work to meet production deadlines.
• Collaborate with a diverse workforce and cross-train as needed.
