Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Gaffney, SC is seeking a maintenance worker to monitor daily oiling of injection molding machines, keep walkways clean, and ensure a hazard-free workplace. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, reading labels, and following Lockout/Tag out, PPE, and lift truck training.

Responsibilities include reporting leaks, tagging for repair, supporting the molding team, and adhering to EH&S programs. Benefits start day 1 with weekly pay and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Able to read and understand product/equipment labels.
• Trained and approved in Lockout/Tag out, PPE, and lift truck.
• Maintain good attendance and reliability.
• Must be able to work with others and PM duties occasionally require extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of Injection Molding Machines for oil around machines.
• Clean walkways and operator stations first during cleanup.
• Oil cleanup in a structured way to avoid residue.
• Notify Molding Supervisor of problems or leaks promptly.
• Tag leaks for repair and assist with repairs when needed.
• Perform other functions as requested by supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace and promote hazard-free conditions.
• Follow EH&S programs and wear PPE; label containers properly.
• Notify management of hazards or faulty equipment promptly.
