Job summary

Cayuga Health in Montour Falls, NY is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for evenings at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility. You will administer medications, monitor vitals, and provide patient-centered care under an RN supervision.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Monitors and records patient/resident vital signs and conditions, promptly reporting changes or pertinent observations to the RN and appropriate nursing personnel.
• Provides ethical, professional, and patient-centered care within scope of practice while advocating for patients/residents.
• Maintains clinical competency through required education and training; coordinates care effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Completes accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR/Point Click Care system and actively participates in unit councils, staff meetings, and other team activities.
