Qualifications

• LTC and Management experience required.
• Active LPN or RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Nursing with planning, organizing, and evaluating the nursing service department.
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures governing daily functions.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Determine staffing needs for the nursing service department.
• Supervise and assist scheduling of employees within state guidelines.
• Ensure direct nursing care is provided by licensed staff and aides as applicable.
• Review nurses' notes for accuracy and adherence to resident wishes.
• Lead in-service educational programs and staff training.
