Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
• Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
• CPR certification.
• One year experience in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Implements physicians’ orders accurately and promptly.
• Assigns nursing care to team members per resident needs.
• Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff and CNAs.
• Administers medications and performs treatments for residents.
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Ensures supplies are utilized economically and equipment is safe.
• Coordinates nursing care with therapy or procedures.
