Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Lancaster seeks an LPN to deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, and monitor residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapists to ensure optimal outcomes for residents.

The role requires current Nebraska or multi-state LPN/LVN licensure, CPR/BLS, and strong communication skills to support residents and families. Working hours are Mon-Fri with rotating weekends in a supportive facility.

Qualifications

LPN/LVN licensure in Nebraska or multistate license.
Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
Current CPR/BLS certification; additional state certifications may be required.
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and administer medications as prescribed.
Monitor vital signs and report changes to the Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing.
Assist in development and implementation of individualized care plans.
Document care accurately and communicate with residents, families, and the team.
Adhere to facility policies, infection control, and safety protocols.
Provide emotional support and education to residents and families.
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapists for coordinated care.
