Job summary

Galloway Ridge is an upscale continuing care retirement community in Pittsboro, NC, seeking a compassionate LPN to join as both Staff Nurse and Charge Nurse. You will lead fellow nurses, deliver high-quality care, and gain administrative experience.

The schedule is Mon/Tue/Fri 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with responsibilities across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Dementia Care, and Independent Living. Qualifications include a valid LPN license, BLS and AED certifications, and experience in geriatric

Qualifications

Valid LPN license.
BLS and AED Certifications.
Experience in long-term, geriatric, or assisted living care preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and respond calmly in urgent situations.

Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, hands-on care to residents across multiple settings — Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Dementia Care, and Independent Living.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and obtain specimens as needed.
Provides oversight for areas assigned along with administrative tasks.
Monitor residents’ health and well-being, identify and document changes, and promptly report concerns.
Respond to medical and emergency situations throughout the community, triage and prioritize care needs.
