Job summary

ArchCare cares for people of all ages and faiths where they are most comfortable and best able to receive it—at home, in the community and in nursing homes.

The LPN is responsible for administration of all medications and treatments during their shift, according to the established medical and nursing care plan, under the direction of the Head/Charge Nurse to provide optimum nursing care to all residents on the unit.

Qualifications

• LPN license.
• Accredited LPN School.

Responsibilities

• Administers and documents all medications according to established policies and procedures, physician's orders, and Department of Health regulations.
• Performs all treatments according to physician’s specific order and established policies and procedures.
• Coordinates the planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care services on a 24-hour basis.
• Monitors staff compliance with facility policy and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
• Directs and supervises PCA, Home Health Aide, CNAs, and other team members as necessary.
