Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in the greater Albany, New York region is seeking an energetic Licensed Practical Nurse for a part-time 3pm–11pm shift. You will assist residents with daily living, monitor medications, and ensure compliance with residents’ rights and PSL policies.

The role requires a current LPN/LVN license and at least one year of senior-care nursing experience, with a compassionate approach to elderly residents.

Qualifications

• Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population.
• Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents' rights.
• Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Assist in monitoring medication programs.
• Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition in accordance with rules and regulations and PSL policies.
