Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Colonie, NY is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day shift (7am-3pm) with rotating weekends. You will support residents with daily activities and monitor medications under physician orders.

Requirements include an active LPN license, at least one year of experience with seniors, and a caring commitment to elder care. Benefits include PTO, holidays, health insurance, retirement plan, and more.

Qualifications

Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse with a current license in good standing, required.
Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population, required.
Compassion for and desire to work with elderly, required.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
Assist resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
Assist in monitoring medication programs.
Dispenses medication in accordance with physician orders and as stated on the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
Monitor and report any resident changes in condition
