Job summary

Sisters of St. Joseph Brentwood is seeking an LPN to provide compassionate care to elderly sisters on a part-time basis during the 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm shift. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with senior residents and be ready to ensure their well-being through dedicated nursing care.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health status, and coordinating care with nursing aides. Benefits such as health insurance, dental, and a 403(b) retirement plan are offered.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a valid NYS nursing license.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably with the elderly.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and ongoing assessment of nursing needs.
• Administer medications according to established protocols.
• Monitor and report changes in Sisters' health status.

Skills

Valid NYS nursing license

Minimum of 1 year nursing experience

Experience with EMR

Excellent bedside manner

Strong oral and written interpersonal skills

CPR certification

Must be fully COVID vaccinated
