Job summary

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation in Northport, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). This full-time role provides hands-on nursing care, medication administration, and care coordination with CNAs and the nursing team to deliver quality resident care.

Requirements include an Alabama LPN license in good standing and CPR/BLS certification; prior experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama LPN license in good standing is REQUIRED.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is REQUIRED.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care is preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, dependable and committed to quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and coordinate resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition.
• Supervise and support CNAs on the assigned unit.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the care team.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory requirements.
