Job summary

St. John's Lutheran Community in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide routine daily nursing care and support per resident care plans.

The LPN will assess residents, mentor CNAs and TMAs, collaborate with the Nurse Manager, and ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for elders in a nonprofit continuum of care. Evening and weekend shifts available with differential details.

Qualifications

• Must possess current license to practice in Minnesota.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in gerontological nursing preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and other services per resident care plans.
• Complete resident assessments as directed by Nurse Manager.
• Mentor and monitor TMAs and CNAs on shift; coordinate with Nurse Manager.
• Ensure quality of care and safety for residents within care plans.
