Job summary

Allied Universal in Brockton, MA is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Presence to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. This full-time, on-site role involves patrolling, welcoming employees and visitors, and delivering dependable security and customer service.

You will monitor for unusual activity, respond to incidents, and help deter unauthorized access, following site procedures. The schedule runs five evenings per week, with paid training and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking areas, building interiors, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel, and assist with documenting incidents.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support the orderly movement of employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
