Job summary

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a financial company in Boston, MA. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 AM–7:30 AM. Starting pay is $23.31 per hour, with paid orientation and training.

As a Security Officer in East Boston, MA, you will safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites, build a welcoming environment, and support a range of security activities. This part-time role offers flexible shifts and growth opportunities through our Claim a Shift

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
